El Sistema Nacional de Información constituye el conjunto organizado de elementos que permiten la interacción de actores con el objeto de acceder, recoger, almacenar y transformar datos en información relevante para la planificación del desarrollo y las finanzas públicas. Sus características, funciones, fuentes, derechos y responsabilidades asociadas a la provisión y uso de la información serán regulados por este código, su reglamento y las demás normas aplicables.
